अंगिया १ संज्ञा स्त्री० [सं० अङ्गिका; प्रा० अंगिआ]
स्त्रियों का एक
पहिनावा जिससे केवल स्तन ढँके रहते है, पेट और पीठ खुली
रहती है । इसमें चार बंद होते हैं जो पीछे बाँधे जाते हैं । छोटा
कपड़ा । चोली । कंचुकी । काँचली । उ०—अँगिया नील,
माँड़नी राती, निरखत नैन चुराई ।—सूर०, १० । १०५३ ।
यौ०—अँगिया का कंठा या अँगिया की कठी=दे० 'अँगिया का
घाट' । अँगिया की कटोरी या मुलकट=अँगिया का वह भाग
जो स्तानों के ऊपर पड़ता है । अँगिया की खवासी या खसी=
वह सीवन जो कटोरियों को आस्तीन से मिलाती है । अँगिया
का घाट=अँगिया का गला या गरेबान, गले के नीचे का
खुला हिस्सा । अँगिया की चिड़िया=दोंनों कटोरियों के बीच की सीवन । अँगिया का ठर्रा=वह बटा हुआ धागा जो अँगिया के नीचे की गोट मे लगाया जाता है । अँगिया की डोरी=
कंठे और पुट्ठे में शोभा के लिये टाँकी जानेवाली डोरी ।
अँगिया की दीवार=दे० 'अँगिया का पान' । अँगिया का
पछुआ=अँगिया की पीठ की ओर के टुकड़े । अँगिया
का पान=अँगिया की कटोरी का छोटा टुकड़ा । अँगिया
का पुट्ठा=अँगिया की आस्तीन की चौड़ी गोट । अँगिया के बंद=पीठ की ओर का ठर्रा जिससे अँगिया कसी
जाती है । अँगिया का बँगला=कटोरी की कली या फाँक जो
जोड़ों पर गोखरू टाँकने से बन जाता है । दो कलियाँ होने पर
बँगला और दस बारह होने पर खरबूजा करहते है । अँगिया के
बाजू=अँगिया का वह भाग जो दोनों बगल छिपाता है ।
अँगिया की लहर=कटोरियों पर तिकोनी कटी हुई सज्जा ।
