Polonium ialah suatu unsur kimia dalam jadual berkala yang memiliki lambang Po dan nombor atom 84. Unsur radioaktif ini termasuk kelompok dalam kumpulan metaloid yang memiliki sifat kimia yang mirip dengan telurium dan bismut. Unsur pertama yang ditemui berdasarkan sifat radioaktifnya, polonium ditemui pada 1989 oleh ahli kimia Perancis iaitu Marie Curie dan suaminya, Pierre Curie dan dinamakan sempena negara asalnya, Poland. Polonium adalah salah satu unsur dari uranium-radium dan merupakan anggota dari uranium-238. Polonium adalah unsur yang sangat jarang. Jumlah un sur ini terjadi dalam batuan yang mengandung radium. Polonium 210 adalah isotop paling umum yang memiliki separuh hayat selama 138 hari. Banyak isotop lain yang berjaya disintesis.
