Viscosità
La viscosità di un fluido è una misura della sua resistenza alla deformazione graduale mediante stress a tensione oa trazione. Per i liquidi, corrisponde alla nozione informale di "spessore". Ad esempio, il miele ha una viscosità molto più elevata dell'acqua. La viscosità è dovuta all'attrito tra le particelle vicine in un fluido che si muove a velocità diverse.
