I tribunali di assize, o assizes, sono stati tribunali penali periodici tenuti in Inghilterra e Galles fino al 1972, quando insieme alle sessioni trimestrali sono state abolite dalla legge del Tribunale 1971 e sostituite da una sola Corte permanente permanente. Gli assisi hanno ascoltato i casi più gravi che gli erano stati impegnati per le sessioni trimestrali, mentre i reati più minori sono stati trattati sommariamente dai giudici della pace in piccole sessioni.
