Il catharismo (/ kæθərɪzəm /; dal greco: καθαροί, katharoi, "il puro") era un movimento cristiano dualista che prosperò in alcune zone dell'Europa meridionale, in particolare dell'Italia settentrionale e della Francia meridionale, tra il XII e il XIV secolo.
