Cerebrosidi è il nome comune di un gruppo di glicosfingolipidi chiamati monoglycosylceramides, che sono componenti importanti nelle membrane cellulari del muscolo e del nervo animale. Sono costituiti da ceramide con un solo residuo di zucchero alla parte 1-idrossile. Il residuo dello zucchero può essere sia glucosio che galattosio; I due principali tipi sono dunque chiamati glucocerebrosidi e galattocerebrosidi. Le galactocerebrosidi sono tipicamente presenti nei tessuti neurali, mentre le glucocerebrosidi si trovano in altri tessuti.
