CHE SIGNIFICA CRAB CANON IN INGLESE
Canone di granchio
Un canone di granchi - noto anche per la forma latina del nome, cancri cancrizans - è una disposizione di due linee musicali che sono complementari e indietro, simili a un palindrome. Originariamente è un termine musicale per una specie di canone in cui una linea viene invertita nel tempo dall'altro. Un esempio famoso si trova nell'Offerta Musicala di J. S. Bach, che contiene anche un canone che combina retrogrado con inversione, cioè la musica viene girata a testa in giù da un giocatore, che è un canone da tavolo. L'uso del termine in contesti non musicali è stato diffuso da Douglas Hofstadter a Gödel, Escher, Bach.
