Decoherenza quantistica
Nella meccanica quantistica, la decoherenza quantistica è la perdita di coerenza o ordinamento degli angoli di fase tra i componenti di un sistema in una sovrapposizione quantica. Una conseguenza di questo depafaggio è il comportamento classico o probabilistico additivo. La decoherenza quantistica dà l'apparenza del crollo della funzione d'onda e giustifica il quadro e l'intuizione della fisica classica come una approssimazione accettabile: la decoherenza è il meccanismo con il quale il limite classico emerge da un punto di partenza quantico e determina la posizione del confine quantico-classico. La decoherenza si verifica quando un sistema interagisce con il suo ambiente in un modo termodinamicamente irreversibile. Ciò impedisce che diversi elementi della sovrapposizione quantistica della funzionalità dell'onda totale del sistema interferiscano tra loro. La decoherenza è stata oggetto di ricerca attiva fin dagli anni '80. La decoherenza può essere considerata come la perdita di informazioni da un sistema all'ambiente, in quanto ogni sistema è leggermente accoppiato allo stato energetico del suo ambiente. Vista l'isolamento, la dinamica del sistema non è unitaria. Quindi le dinamiche del sistema sono irreversibili.
