Proprietà distributiva
In algebra astratta e logica formale, la proprietà distributiva delle operazioni binarie generalizza la legge distributiva dall'algebra elementare. Nella logica proposizionale, la distribuzione si riferisce a due regole valide di sostituzione. Le regole permettono di riformulare le congiunzioni e le disgiunzioni all'interno di prove logiche. Ad esempio, in aritmetica: 2 · = +, ma 2 / ≠ +. Nel lato sinistro della prima equazione, il 2 moltiplica la somma di 1 e 3; Sul lato destro, moltiplica le 1 e le 3 singolarmente, con i prodotti aggiunti successivamente. Poiché questi forniscono la stessa risposta finale, diciamo che la moltiplicazione per 2 distribuisce oltre l'aggiunta di 1 e 3. Poiché avremmo potuto mettere tutti i numeri reali al posto dei 2, 1 e 3 sopra e ancora hanno ottenuto una vera equazione, noi Diciamo che la moltiplicazione dei numeri reali si distribuisce sull'aggiunta di numeri reali.
