CHE SIGNIFICA MYOPATHIC IN INGLESE

In medicina, una miopatia è una malattia muscolare in cui le fibre muscolari non funzionano per nessuno di molti motivi, con conseguente debolezza muscolare. "Miopatia" significa semplicemente malattia muscolare. Questo significato implica che il difetto primario sia all'interno del muscolo, al contrario dei nervi o altrove. Crampi muscolari, rigidità e spasmo possono anche essere associati a miopatia. La condizione è di solito letale e lo stress è stato identificato come il singolo fattore più determinante, esacerbato dall'esercizio muscolare. La malattia muscolare può essere classificata come natura neuromuscolare o muscolo-scheletrica. Alcune condizioni, come la miosite, possono essere considerate sia neuromuscolari che muscolo-scheletriche.
