Chimica fisica
La chimica fisica è lo studio di fenomeni macroscopici, atomici, subatomici e particolati nei sistemi chimici in termini di leggi e concetti di fisica. Applica i principi, le pratiche ei concetti della fisica come movimento, energia, forza, tempo, termodinamica, chimica quantistica, meccanica statistica e dinamiche, equilibrio. La chimica fisica, in contrasto con la fisica chimica, è prevalentemente una scienza macroscopica o sovra-molecolare, in quanto la maggior parte dei principi su cui si fondava la chimica fisica sono concetti legati alla massa, piuttosto che alla sola struttura molecolare / atomica.
