Prevedibile è, nella logica scolastica, un termine applicato a una classificazione delle possibili relazioni in cui un predicato può stare al suo soggetto. Non è da confondere con la "praedicamenta", il termine scolastico per le dieci categorie di Aristotele. L'elenco dei maestri scolastici e generalmente adottato dai logici moderni si basa sull'originale quinta classificazione di Aristotele: definizione, genere, differenza, proprietà, incidente. La classificazione scolastica, ottenuta dalla versione latina di Boëthius di Isagog di Porfido, ha modificato Aristotele sostituendo specie per la definizione. Entrambe le classificazioni sono di universali, concetti o termini generali, ovviamente i nomi propri sono esclusi. C'è tuttavia una differenza radicale tra i due sistemi.
