L'Unione per la Costruzione, le Tradizioni e i Tecnici Alleati è un sindacato britannico e irlandese che rappresenta, a partire da dicembre 2012, 84.377 lavoratori in attività di costruzione e di alleati. L'UCATT è stata costituita nel 1971 a seguito della fusione dell'Unione unificata di lavoratori edili, dell'Associazione dei tecnici edili e della Società amalgamata di lavoratori di legno e decoratori, fondata l'anno precedente dalla fusione della Società Amalgamata di Woodworkers e Società amalgamata di pittori e decoratori L'unione unita è stata inizialmente conosciuta come la Società Amalgamata di lavoratori di legno, pittori e costruttori, ma ha cambiato nome dopo l'anno. La sua prima segretaria generale era Sir George Smith, ex Segretario Generale della ASW, eletta direttamente dall'adesione. Il suo esecutivo al momento incorporava i funzionari pagati che erano stati selezionati da un processo elettorale all'interno dell'industria.
