Nella mineralogia e nella cristallografia, una struttura cristallina è una disposizione unica di atomi o molecole in un liquido cristallino o solido. Una struttura cristallina descrive una struttura fortemente ordinata, che si verifica a causa della natura intrinseca delle molecole per formare schemi simmetrici. Una struttura di cristallo può essere considerata come un array infinitamente ripetuto di "scatole" 3D, noti come le unità cellule.
