Weekly Watan è un giornale in lingua malese in Malesia che una volta era stato bandito dopo l'Operazione Lalang nel 1987. Il giornale è stato ridistribuito nel resto del paese il 16 agosto 2008 dopo aver ricevuto un permesso di pubblicazione dal Ministero dell'Interno il 1 agosto 2008. Il giornale è stato pubblicato sotto forma di tabloid , Prima di essere bandito nel 1987, il quotidiano è stato pubblicato da Karangkraf Group Sdn Bhd ogni mercoledì e sabato come Watan. Nel 1988, un anno dopo essere stati banditi, le licenze di pubblicazione sono state ridistribuite ai produttori di questa stampa. A causa della mancanza di vendite, la sua pubblicazione deve essere interrotta nel 1996. Weekly Watan è pubblicato da Naluri Teratai Sdn Bhd di proprietà di Wan Bahador Wan Ismail e Rosli Abul Zarim. Wan Bahador era uno dei giornalisti che lavoravano con il precedente giornale di Watan. Redattore capo della stampa è Zabidi Said.
