ペラック、ケランタン、パハンの内部にあるティティワンサの斜面に生息するマレーシアの瀬戸内の人々で、マレーシアのオランアスリの一人です。 Senoi家のChong、Mahmeri、Jah Hut、Semoq Beri、Semai、Temiarには6つの部族がいます。 Senoiの人々は、幸せと精神的な健康を保つために明確な夢を使用していると言われているハンターやコレクターです。 現地調査は第二次世界大戦の前にKilton Stewartによって行われ、1950年代初めに出版されました。 Parapsychiologist Charles Tartと教育学者George Burr Leonardは、Esalen Instituteの本と休息センターを通してStewartの絵を強調しました。 後の研究者はスチュワートの研究を確認できなかった。 1985年、ウィリアム・ドホフ氏は、「夢の神秘」で、テミアール/瀬上の住民と働く人類学者は、彼らが明確な夢の概念に精通しており、それほど重要ではないと報告したと述べた。

Orang-orang Senoi merupakan orang pemburu dan pengumpul yang dilaporkan menggunakan mimpi jelas bagi memastikan mereka kekal gembira dan kesihatan mental. Lapuran kajian lapangan yang dilakukan oleh Kilton Stewart sebelum Perang Dunia II dan diterbitkan pada awal 1950-an. Parapsykhologi Charles Tart dan pedagogi George Burr Leonard kemudian menonjolkan gambaran Stewart melalui buku dan pusat rehat Institute Esalen. Penyelidik terkemudian tidak dapat mengesahkan kajian Stewart. Pada 1985 G.
