근골격계 란 도시, 학교 또는 병원 등 조직 단위의 벽 밖에있는 것을 말합니다. 교육적 맥락에서, 교외 (extramural) 란 대학이나 다른 기관의 외부에서 활동을하는 것을 말합니다. 교내 외 연구는 학생이 물리적 캠퍼스에서 멀리 떨어진 곳에서 수행되며, 수업에 참석할 수없는 사람들을 위해 종종 사용됩니다. 교내 스포츠는 교내 스포츠와는 다른 교육 기관간에 경쟁하는 스포츠로서, 같은 기관의 구성원이 내부적으로 경쟁합니다. 교내 학습은 항상 대학이나 교육 기관에 의해 이루어지는 것은 아닙니다. 사람, 사회, 환경, 사람, 장소 및 사물에 대한 자신의 경험에서 비롯된 학습이 지식, 학습 및 교육의 외래 집단 취득이라고 불리는 것을 구성 할 수 있습니다. 외부 학습은 외부 학습과 혼동 될 수 있습니다. 전자는 일반적으로 학생의 개인 개발과 관련된 경험을 말하지만 후자는 학업 분야에 더 적합 할 수 있습니다.
