화학 열역학에서 실제 가스의 fugacity는 정확한 화학 평형 계산에서 실제 기계 압력을 대체하는 효과적인 압력입니다. 이는 실제 가스와 동일한 화학 포텐셜을 갖는 이상 기체의 압력과 동일하다. 예를 들어, 질소 가스는 0 ℃에서 압력은 fugacity가 있습니다. 이것은 100 기압의 압력에서 실제 질소의 화학 포텐셜이 질소가 이상 기체 인 경우보다 적다는 것을 의미합니다. 화학 포텐셜의 값은 이상 기체 인 질소가 97.03 기압에서 갖는 질소량이다.
