난간
난간은 지붕, 테라스, 발코니, 산책로 또는 기타 구조물의 가장자리에있는 벽의 연장 인 장벽입니다. 지붕 위를 확장하는 곳은 단순히 지붕 표면의 선 위에 계속되는 외벽의 일부일 수도 있고, 또는 방화 벽이나 파티 벽과 같은 지붕 아래의 수직 피처의 연속 일 수도 있습니다. 난간은 원래 군사 공격으로부터 건물을 방어하는 데 사용되었지만 오늘날에는 주로 가드 레일로 사용되며 화재의 확산을 방지합니다.
영어 사전에서 parapet 의 정의
사전에있는 난간의 정의는 발코니, 지붕 등의 가장자리를 따라 낮은 벽 또는 난간입니다. 난간의 다른 정의는 가슴 쌓기라고도합니다. 목초지, 흙 덩어리, 토루기 등을 트렌치 앞에두고 전면에서 화재를 예방합니다.
