펩타이드 화는 콜로이드 입자가 분산 매질에 안정적으로 분산되도록하는 과정입니다. 즉, 소량의 전해질 존재하에 분산 매질로 진탕시킴으로써 침전물을 콜로이드 성 졸로 전환시키는 공정으로 정의 될 수있다. 이 과정에서 사용되는 전해질은 해교 제 (peptizing agent)라고 불립니다. 이것은 콜로이드 화학 또는 수용액에서의 침전 반응에 특히 중요합니다. 콜로이드 입자가 동일한 전하를 지니면, 서로 튕겨져 서로 뭉치지 않습니다. 매우 미세한 콜로이드 입자가 종이 필터를 직접 통과하기 때문에 갓 침전 된 알루미늄 또는 수산화철은 여과하기가 극히 어렵습니다. 여과를 용이하게하기 위해, 콜로이드 성 현탁액은 먼저 농축 된 염 용액을 시스템에 첨가하여 응집되어야한다. 다가 양이온은 1가 양이온보다 더 효율적인 응집제이다 : AlCl3 \u0026 gt; CaCl2 \u0026 gt; NaCl. 입자 표면에 존재하는 전하가 "중화되어"없어집니다.

Peptization is the process responsible for the formation of stable dispersion of colloidal particles in dispersion medium. In other words it may be defined as a process of converting a precipitate into colloidal sol by shaking it with dispersion medium in the presence of small amount of electrolyte. The electrolyte used in this process is called as peptizing agent. This is particularly important in colloid chemistry or for precipitation reactions in an aqueous solution. When colloidal particles bear a same sign electric charge, they mutually repel each other and cannot aggregate together. Freshly precipitated aluminium or iron hydroxide is extremely difficult to filter because the very fine colloidal particles directly pass through a paper filter. To facilitate the filtration, the colloidal suspension must be first flocculated by adding a concentrated solution of salt to the system. Multivalent cations are more efficient flocculants than monovalent cations: AlCl3 > CaCl2 > NaCl. The electrical charges present at the surface of the particles are so "neutralised" and disappear.
