광전 효과
광전 효과는 많은 금속이 빛이 빛을 발할 때 전자를 방출한다는 관찰입니다. 이러한 방식으로 방출 된 전자는 광전자라고 할 수 있습니다. 고전 전자기 이론에 따르면,이 효과는 금속에서 빛으로부터 전자로의 에너지 전달에 기인 할 수 있습니다. 이러한 관점에서, 광의 진폭 또는 파장의 변경은 금속으로부터의 전자의 방출 속도의 변화를 유도 할 것이다. 또한,이 이론에 따르면, 충분히 희미한 빛은 빛의 초기 빛과 이후의 전자 방출 사이의 지연 시간을 나타내는 것으로 예상됩니다. 그러나 실험 결과는이 이론에 의해 만들어진 두 예측 중 하나와 상관 관계가 없었다. 대신 빛이 빛의 진폭과 시간적 길이에 관계없이 금속으로부터 전자가 방출 될 수없는 문턱 주파수에 도달하거나 초과하면 광전 효과에 의해서만 전자가 제거됩니다.
