애플톤 자메이카 산 럼. 17세기, 영국 요크셔 출신의 존 애플톤이 자메이카의 아름다운 계곡을 선택해서 농장을 개척했다. 그곳을 개척자의 이름을 따서 애플톤 밸리라고 부르게 되었는데, 그 곳에서 1825년부터 생산된 것이 사진의 럼.현재 동 증류소는 자메이카의 수도인 킹스톤 시에 본사를 둔 존 레이 & 네퓨 사에 흡수되었다.화이트는 자메이카 럼 중에서는 라이트파의 최우익으로, 연속식 증류기를 사용하기 때문에 부드러운 맛을 가지는데, 보드카에 가까운 럼이라고 평하는 사람도 있다.골드는 향이 풍부한 미디엄 라이트 타입.V/X는 현재 동 사의 간판 상품인 다크 럼. 포트 스틸로 증류한 후, 오크 통에서 숙성 과정을 거친 후 배합된다.12년도 포트 스틸 증류품. 몰트 스카치를 연상케하는 헤비 타입.
