한국어 사전에서 식물상 의 정의
식물상
어떤 특정 지역에 생육하고 있는 식물의 종류상으로 동물상에 대응하는 말이다. 식생(植生)은 어떤 지역을 차지하는 모든 식물적 생명체를 가리키는 데 대하여 식물상은 그 곳에 생육하는 모든 식물의 종명(種名)을 동정(同定)하여 표에 나타낸 것을 말한다. 따라서 한국의 식물상, 미국의 식물상과 같이 크게도 사용되고, 한라산의 식물상과 같이 국지적으로도 사용된다.
