PROLOG는 1 단계 논리 또는 술어 논리를 기반으로하는 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 언어로서, 실패로 인한 과실 ( '세속적 인 가정')입니다. 로버트 코왈 스키 (Robert Kowalski)와 다른 사람들에 의해 개척 된 논리적 프로그래밍 (Logical Programming) 개념의 가장 초기 구현입니다. 따라서 선언의 언어로 분류됩니다.
