Po okresie bardzo szerokiej działalności w latach dziewięćdziesiątych, kiedy ukazały się dziesiątki płyt kojarzonych z yassową sceną ruch yassowy stracił swoją intensywność, a muzycy z nim związani poświęcili się karierom solowym.
