Jol - 중형 세일링 요트에 주로 사용되는 양면 범선 유형. 부표의 중심 근처에 메인 돛대가있는 범선과 메인의 약 1/3의 잔존물, 아주 작은 돛대가 선미와 멀리 떨어져 있습니다. 큰 돛대 차이 때문에이 장치를 "하프 마라톤"이라고도합니다. Jol은 두 돛대에 경사 돛을 운반합니다. 메인 돛대가 메인 마스트이고 뒤쪽 돛대가 틀림 없다. 맨틀은 유니트의 수선 외곽에 위치하고 있는데, 비슷한 유형의 요트 인 ketch와는 다르며, 두 번째 돛대가 더 크고 앞으로 이동합니다. 이러한 유휴 위치는 일반적으로 돛대가 조종석의 게시물 뒤에 위치한다는 것을 의미합니다. 새로운 항해 선박의 설계가 구조적으로 변경되면 요트 유형별 차이가 점차 희미 해집니다.이 경우 파도 저항을 줄이기 위해 KLW를 극대화하는 경향이 있습니다.

Żaglowiec posiadający główny maszt w pobliżu środka wyporu jednostki, oraz dodatkowo szczątkowy, bardzo mały maszt wysokości ok. 1/3 głównego, posadowiony daleko na rufie. Z powodu dużej różnicy masztów, tego typu jednostkę określa się również gwarowo jako "półtoramasztowiec". Jol nosi na obu masztach ożaglowanie skośne. Główny maszt to grotmaszt, tylny maszt to bezanmaszt. Bezanmaszt jest usytuowany poza obrysem konstrukcyjnej linii wodnej jednostki, czym różni się od bardzo podobnego typu jachtu, o nazwie kecz, którego drugi maszt jest większy i przesunięty bardziej ku przodowi. Takie usytuowanie bezana na jolu oznacza najczęściej, że maszt ten znajduje się za rufowym stanowiskiem sternika. Zmiany konstrukcyjne w projektowaniu nowych żaglowców coraz bardziej zacierają różnice pomiędzy poszczególnymi typami jachtów – w tym przypadku są to tendencje do jak największego przedłużania KLW w celu zmniejszenia oporu falowego.
