Nob wymienia również Księga Izajasza w rozdz. 10. w poetyckim opisie najazdu Asyryjczyków na Judę i Jerozolimę od północy. Księga Nehemiasza wymienia jego ponowne zasiedlenie przez członków plemienia Beniamina po powrocie z niewoli babilońskiej.
