leácă s. f. – Pic, cîtime mică, fărîmă, pișcătură, fir, bob, strop. (Se folosește numai cu
art. indef. oleacă „puțin”).
Ngr. ὀλιγάϰι
dim. al lui ὀλίγο (Cihac, II, 680; Philippide,
Principii, 107; Scriban).
Ngr. se pronunță și ὀλιάϰι;
cf. abruz. licca „un pic”. A ajuns să se confunde cu
leac „remediu”, prin obișnuința de a administra medicamentele în cantități foarte mici; din această confuzie rezultă
leac, s. n. (pic),
de leac (încrucișat cu
de loc) „complet, total, fără limite”. Pentru separarea lui
