इंडो-युरोपियन भाषाशास्त्रात, एक विषयावरील स्वर किंवा थीम स्वर हे स्फटिका-इंडो-युरोपियन शब्दाच्या समाप्तीपूर्वी ठेवलेले अॉलॉट पासूनचे स्वरुप * ई किंवा * ओ आहे. या स्वरांसह इंडो-युरोपियन भाषांमधील नाम, विशेषण आणि क्रियापद विषयासंबंधी आहेत आणि त्याशिवाय ते नास्तिक आहेत. अधिक सामान्यतः वापरला जाणारा, एक विषयावरील स्वर हे एका शब्दाच्या समाप्तीच्या शेवटी आढळणारे स्वर आहेत.
