बुशमेत हे आफ्रिकेतील व आशियामध्ये शिकार केलेल्या जंगली प्राण्यांचे मांस आहे. हा शब्द विशेषतः पश्चिम आणि मध्य आफ्रिकेतील प्राण्यांमधील मांस यांच्या संदर्भात वापरला जातो. आज हा शब्द बहुतेक देशांच्या विस्तृत श्रेणीसाठी आणि विशेषत: लुप्त होणाऱ्या एप प्रजातींच्या शिकार संदर्भात वापरला जातो. त्रिनिदाद आणि टोबॅगोमध्ये याला वैकल्पिकपणे जंगली मांद म्हटले जाते बुशमेत संकट टास्क फोर्सच्या निर्मितीमुळे बुशमेतच्या घटनांचा सामना करण्यासाठी अनेक संवर्धन संस्था एकत्र आले आहेत, ज्याचा उद्देश सार्वजनिक, व्यावसायिक आणि सरकारी मतदारसंघ तयार करणे हा आहे ज्याद्वारे आफ्रिका व आसपासच्या बशमेत संकटाला प्रभावीपणे प्रतिसाद देणारे उपाय शोधणे आणि त्यांचे समर्थन करणे हे आहे. जग.
