एक कंसोर्टियम ही एक सामान्य उद्दीष्ट साध्य करण्यासाठी सामान्य संसाधनात सहभागी होण्याचे किंवा त्यांच्या संसाधनांचे एकत्रीकरण करण्याच्या उद्देशाने दोन किंवा अधिक व्यक्ती, कंपन्या, संस्था किंवा सरकारची संघटना आहे. कॉन्सोर्टियम म्हणजे लॅटिन शब्द, म्हणजे "भागीदारी", "संघ" किंवा "समाज" आणि कन्सारच्या 'भागीदाराकडून' आहे, स्वतःला 'एकत्र' आणि 'सॉर्स' प्राक्तन, अर्थ किंवा कॉमरेडचा मालक.
