एक निवडणूक जिल्हा एक स्वतंत्र प्रादेशिक उपविभाग आहे जे एका स्वतंत्र विभागातील एक किंवा त्यापेक्षा अधिक जागांवर स्वतंत्र निवडणूक घेण्याचे आहे. सर्वसाधारणपणे, जिल्हे केवळ जिल्ह्यातच राहतात परंतु मतदारांच्या भौगोलिक सीमांत राहणारे मतदारांना तेथे निवडणुकीत मतदान करण्याची परवानगी आहे.
