कॉँटेंजो अशी अशी परिस्थिती आहे जिथे एखाद्या कमोडिटीच्या वायद्याची किंमत अपेक्षित स्पॉट किंमतपेक्षा जास्त असेल. एखाद्या प्रचलित परिस्थितीत, हेजर्स किंवा मध्यस्थ / सटोडिया, "कमॉडिटीच्या प्रत्यक्ष अपेक्षित किंमतीपेक्षा भविष्यात काही वेळेस कमोडिटीसाठी जास्त पैसे देण्यास तयार आहेत. भविष्यामध्ये स्टोरेजचा खर्च आणि आजच कमोडिटी खरेदी करण्याच्या खर्चाची भरपाई करण्याऐवजी.
