भेदभाव
भेदभाव कृती आहे जो सामाजिक सहभाग नाकारतो किंवा पूर्वाग्रहांवर आधारित लोकांचा वर्गांना मानवाधिकार देतो. यामध्ये विशिष्ट गटातील किंवा सामाजिक वर्गात त्यांच्या वैयक्तिक किंवा गृहीत सदस्यत्वाच्या आधारावर एखाद्या व्यक्तीचा किंवा समूहाचा समावेश आहे, "अशा पद्धतीने जे लोक सहसा वागतात त्यापेक्षा वाईट आहे". यात ग्रुपच्या प्रारंभिक प्रतिक्रिया किंवा परस्परसंवादाचा समावेश आहे, गट किंवा गट नेते यांच्यातील व्यक्तीचे प्रत्यक्ष वागणूक, ज्यामुळे एखाद्या समूहातील सदस्यांना दुसर्या गटासाठी उपलब्ध असलेल्या संधी किंवा विशेषाधिकारांपासून प्रतिबंधित केले जाते, ज्यामुळे तार्किक आधारावर वैयक्तिक किंवा संस्थांना वगळण्यात येते. किंवा तर्कहीन निर्णय घेणे जगभरातील प्रत्येक भागामध्ये अनेक देश आणि संस्थांमध्ये भेदभावपर परंपरा, धोरणे, कल्पना, प्रथा आणि कायदे अस्तित्वात असतात, अगदी अशा लोकांमध्ये जेथे भेदभाव सामान्यतः खाली पाहिला जातो. काही ठिकाणी, कोटा किंवा होकारार्थी कृती यांसारख्या वादग्रस्त प्रयत्नांचा वापर भेदभाव चालू किंवा भूतकाळाचा समजल्या जाणाऱ्या लाभांकरता केला जातो- परंतु कधी कधी त्यांना रिवर्स भेदभाव असे म्हणतात.
