Eurocurrency म्हणजे बँकामधील ठेवी ज्या देशाच्या सीमेबाहेर जमा केल्या जातात त्या चलनासंबंधी निर्देशित केले जाते. उदाहरणार्थ, ब्राझिलियन बँकेतील जपानी येन मध्ये ठेवलेली ठेव युरोक्रँन्सीज ठेव आहे त्याचप्रमाणे सिंगापूर बँकेमध्ये ठेवलेल्या अमेरिकन डॉलरमध्ये ठेव ठेवलेली एक युरो म्हणजे युरोच्युरँन्ज डिपॉझिट किंवा विशेषत: युरोडोलार ठेव. Eurocurrency युरो चलन किंवा eurozone एकतर समावेश नाही आज युरोक्र्यून्सी आणि युरोबॉंड मार्केट सक्रिय आहेत कारण ते स्थानिक व्याज दर नियम, आरक्षणाची आवश्यकता आणि भांडवल मुक्त प्रवाह इतर अडथळ्यांना टाळतात.
