काचेच्या भौतिकशास्त्रात, नाजूकपणा हे द्रव्येची गतीशीलता किती वेगाने कमी करते हे काचेच्या संक्रमणाकडे कसे जाते हे स्पष्ट करते: उच्च नाजूकपणा असलेल्या वस्तूंमध्ये अरुंद काचेचे संक्रमण तापमान श्रेणी असते, तर कमी नाजुकपणा असलेले लोक तुलनेने मोठ्या काचेच्या संक्रमण तापमान श्रेणी. शारीरिकदृष्टय़ा, नाजूकपणा चष्मामध्ये गतिमान विविधता, तसेच नेहमीच्या स्टोक्स-आइनस्टाइन यांच्यातील विघटन आणि प्रसार यातील विघटन यांच्याशी संबंधित असू शकतात.
