इंग्रजी मध्ये INITIATIVE म्हणजे काय?

राजकीय विज्ञान मध्ये, एक उपक्रम म्हणजे एक निश्चित माध्यम आहे ज्याद्वारे काही किमान नोंदणीकृत मतदारांनी स्वाक्षरी केलेली एक जनमत सार्वजनिक मतदानासाठी लागू शकेल. हा पुढाकार थेट उपक्रमाचा किंवा अप्रत्यक्ष उपक्रमाचा स्वरूपात असू शकतो. एक थेट पुढाकाराने, एका याचिकेत सादर केल्यानंतर एक उपाय थेट मतदानाने ठेवले जाते. अप्रत्यक्ष उपक्रमामध्ये, प्रथम उपाययोजना म्हणजे विधानमंडळाचा उल्लेख केला जातो आणि मग विधीमंडळाने अधिनियमित न झाल्यास केवळ एक लोकप्रिय मत दिले जाते. मत प्रस्तावित कायद्यात, घटनात्मक दुरुस्ती, चार्टर दुरुस्ती किंवा स्थानिक अध्यादेश वर असू शकते किंवा केवळ कार्यकारी आदेश किंवा कायदेमंडळास त्या दिवसाच्या क्रमवारीत सादर करून विषय विचारात घेण्यावर अवलंबून असेल. हे थेट लोकशाहीचे एक रूप आहे.
