इंग्रजी मध्ये INTEGUMENT म्हणजे काय?

जीवशास्त्र मध्ये, इंटिग्युमेंट हा जीव किंवा शरीराचा नैसर्गिक आवरण आहे, जसे की त्याची त्वचा, फुलू, शेल किंवा राईंड. हे इंटिग्यूमेंटम मधून आले आहे, ज्याचा अर्थ लैटिनमध्ये "आवरण" आहे. एका हस्तांतरित किंवा लाक्षणिक अर्थाने, याचा अर्थ असा किंवा कपटी किंवा भेदा असू शकतो. इंग्रजीमध्ये "इंटिग्रूमेंट" हे अतिशय आधुनिक शब्द आहे, त्याचे मूळ हे लवकर सतराव्या शतकापर्यंत सापडले होते. याचा अर्थ असा एक सामग्री किंवा थर असा असू शकतो, ज्यामध्ये त्वचा किंवा भुसासारखे काहीही "कपडे घातलेले" किंवा "आच्छादन" च्या अर्थाने जोडलेले, कपडलेले किंवा झाकलेले आहे.
