इंग्रजी मध्ये KOWHAI म्हणजे काय?

कोहिहा न्यूझीलंडच्या सोफोरा वंशाच्या वंशामध्ये लहान, वृक्षाच्छादित फुलझाडे आहे. आठ प्रजाती आहेत, सोफोरा मायक्रोफिला आणि एस. टीटापेररा मोठ्या झाडाच्या रूपात ओळखली जातात. त्यांचे नैसर्गिक निवासस्थान, नदीच्या काठावर आणि जंगलाच्या कडांवर, निचरा किंवा पर्वतांच्या खुल्या भागात आहे. कोहिहाऊ वृक्ष संपूर्ण देशभर वाढतात आणि न्यूझीलंडच्या बागेमध्ये एक सामान्य वैशिष्ट्य आहे. न्यूझीलंडच्या बाहेर, कोहिhai हा सौम्य समशीतोष्ण समुद्री हवामानापर्यंत मर्यादित असतो. नाव कोही हे माओरी शब्दातून पिवळा रंगासाठी येते- एक फुलाचा रंग. काही भागात ते कोही असेही म्हणतात. सामान्यतः कोहिहाई म्हणून त्याचे नाव आहे अशा प्रकारे अधिकृत दर्जा नसले तरी, कोहिहामधले ब्लूम मोठ्या प्रमाणावर न्यूझीलंडचे राष्ट्रीय फूल म्हणून ओळखले जातात.
