एक lysimeter एक मोजमाप साधन आहे जे वनस्पती द्वारे प्रकाशीत वास्तविक बाष्पीभवन च्या प्रमाणात मोजण्यासाठी वापरले जाऊ शकते, सहसा पिके किंवा झाडं एखाद्या क्षेत्राच्या पावसामुळे आणि मातीतून गमावलेल्या रकमेचे रेकॉर्ड करून, बाष्पभ्रष्टता नष्ट होणा-या पाण्याचा विचार केला जाऊ शकतो.
