इंग्रजी मध्ये SANITARY म्हणजे काय?
स्वच्छता
कचर्याचे धोके, तसेच मलविसर्जन सांडपाण्याचा निचरा आणि योग्य विल्हेवाट यांमुळे मानवी संपर्कात येण्याद्वारे आरोग्य सुधाराचा स्वच्छतेचा हा एक स्वच्छ साधन आहे. घातक एकतर शारीरिक, मायक्रोबायोलॉजिकल, जैविक किंवा रासायनिक घटक असू शकतात. आरोग्यविषयक समस्यांमुळे मानव आणि प्राणी विष्ठा, घनकचरा, घरगुती सांडपाणी, औद्योगिक कचरा आणि शेतीविषयक टाकाऊ पदार्थ यांचा समावेश आहे. स्वच्छतेचे साधन म्हणजे अभियांत्रिकी समाधान, साधी तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर किंवा वैयक्तिक स्वच्छता पद्धतींचा उपयोग करून. वर्ल्ड हेल्थ ऑर्गनायझेशनने असे म्हटले आहे की: "स्वच्छता म्हणजे सामान्यतः मानवी मूत्र आणि विष्ठा यांच्या सुरक्षित विल्हेवाटीसाठी सुविधा आणि सेवांची तरतूद." अपुरी स्वच्छता जागतिक स्तरावर रोगाचे एक प्रमुख कारण आहे आणि स्वच्छता सुधारणेला एक महत्वपूर्ण फायदेशीर फायदे समजले जाते घरगुती आणि समाजामध्ये दोन्ही ठिकाणी आरोग्य यावर.
