वाचन (विधीमंडळ)
एखाद्या विधेयकचे वाचन विधेयकाच्या सर्वसाधारण मंडळासमोर ठेवलेल्या विधेयकावर वादविवाद असते, कारण समिती किंवा इतर समूहाच्या आधी वेस्टमिन्स्टर प्रणालीमध्ये, संसदेच्या कायद्याप्रमाणे कायदा होण्याआधी ते पोचलेल्या अवस्थांमधील बिलचे अनेक रीडिंग असतात. यातील काही वाचन सामान्यतः सामान्य वादविवादांऐवजी औपचारिकता आहेत.

शब्दकोषातील दुसऱ्या वाचनची परिभाषा म्हणजे विधानसभेतील विधेयकाच्या दुसऱ्या सादरीकरणाची व्याख्या, त्याच्या सामान्य तत्त्वांना मान्यता देणे किंवा त्यावर समितीच्या अहवालावर चर्चा करणे.
