इंग्रजी मध्ये TECHNOLOGY म्हणजे काय?
तंत्रज्ञान
एखाद्या समस्येचे निराकरण करण्यासाठी, एखाद्या समस्येचे पूर्व-विद्यमान समाधान सुधारण्यासाठी, लक्ष्य साध्य करण्यासाठी, हाताळण्यासाठी, तंत्रज्ञानाची निर्मिती, फेरबदल, वापर, साधने, यंत्रे, तंत्रे, हस्तकला, प्रणाली आणि पद्धतींचे ज्ञान इनपुट / आउटपुट संबंध लागू करणे किंवा विशिष्ट कार्य करणे. यंत्रणा, फेरबदल, व्यवस्था आणि कार्यपद्धती यासह अशा साधनांचा संग्रह देखील संदर्भित करतात. तंत्रज्ञानामुळे मानव तसेच इतर प्राण्यांच्या प्रजातींवर त्यांच्या नैसर्गिक वातावरणात नियंत्रित व जुळवून घेण्याची क्षमता महत्त्वपूर्ण आहे. टर्म एकतर साधारणपणे किंवा विशिष्ट क्षेत्रांवर लागू केली जाऊ शकतात: उदाहरणे म्हणजे बांधकाम तंत्रज्ञान, वैद्यकीय तंत्रज्ञान आणि माहिती तंत्रज्ञान. मानव प्रजाती 'तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर नैसर्गिक संसाधनांचे रूपांतर साधी साधनांसह रूपांतरित झाले. अग्नी नियंत्रित करण्याची क्षमता प्रागैतिहासिक शोधाने अन्न उपलब्ध स्रोत वाढविले आणि चाकांची शोधाने त्यांच्या वातावरणात प्रवास करण्यास व त्यांचे नियंत्रण करण्यास मदत केली.
