A airfoil atau aerofoil adalah bentuk sayap atau bilah atau belayar seperti yang dilihat di seksyen silang. Badan berbentuk aneasa yang bergerak melalui cecair menghasilkan daya aerodinamik. Komponen daya ini serenjang dengan arah gerakan dipanggil lif. Komponen selari dengan arah gerakan disebut drag. Apabila berorientasikan pada sudut yang sesuai, aerofoil membelai udara yang akan datang, mengakibatkan daya pada lelayang pada arah yang bertentangan dengan pesongan. Daya ini dikenali sebagai daya aerodinamik dan boleh diselesaikan menjadi dua komponen: angkat dan seret. Bentuk-bentuk foil yang paling memerlukan sudut serangan yang positif untuk menjana angkat, tetapi airfoil berkembun boleh menjana daya angkat pada sudut serangan sifar.
