Alidade
Alidade atau papan balik ialah peranti yang membolehkan seseorang melihat objek jauh dan menggunakan garis penglihatan untuk melaksanakan tugas. Tugas ini boleh, sebagai contoh, untuk melukis garis pada jadual satah ke arah objek atau untuk mengukur sudut ke objek dari beberapa titik rujukan. Sudut diukur boleh mendatar, menegak atau dalam mana-mana satah yang dipilih. Penggunaan utama alidade adalah untuk membuat peta dalam pesawat mendatar. Alidade pada asalnya merupakan sebahagian daripada banyak jenis instrumen sains dan astronomi. Pada satu ketika, beberapa alias, terutamanya yang digunakan pada kalangan lepasan seperti pada astrolab, juga dipanggil diopter. Dengan teknologi moden, nama itu digunakan untuk menyelesaikan instrumen seperti alidade jadual pesawat.
