Analogi adalah proses kognitif untuk memindahkan maklumat atau makna dari subjek tertentu ke subjek tertentu, atau ungkapan linguistik yang sepadan dengan proses sedemikian. Dalam pengertian yang lebih sempit, analogi adalah kesimpulan atau hujah dari satu ke yang lain, berbanding dengan pemotongan, induksi, dan penculikan, di mana sekurang-kurangnya salah satu premis atau kesimpulannya adalah umum. Kata analogi juga boleh merujuk kepada hubungan antara sumber dan sasaran diri, yang sering, walaupun tidak semestinya, kesamaan, seperti dalam tanggapan biologi analogi.
