Dalam kimia organik, aromatik adalah sifat kimia yang menerangkan cara di mana cincin ikatan yang tidak jenuh, pasang tunggal, atau orbital kosong menunjukkan penstabilan yang lebih kuat daripada yang diharapkan oleh penstabilan conjugation sahaja. Penggunaan istilah paling awal adalah dalam artikel oleh August Wilhelm Hofmann pada tahun 1855.
