Lembah Beqaa
Lembah Beqaa adalah lembah yang subur di timur Lebanon. Bagi orang Rom, Lembah Beqaa merupakan sumber pertanian utama, dan hari ini ia tetap menjadi wilayah pertanian paling penting di Lebanon. Industri juga berkembang di Bekaa, terutama yang berkaitan dengan pertanian. Kawasan bandar Chtaura-Taalabaya-Saadnayel-Zahle, Majdal Anjar The Beqaa yang lembah terbesar adalah lembah yang subur di Lubnan, yang terletak kira-kira 30 km timur Beirut. Lembah ini terletak antara Gunung Lebanon ke barat dan Pergunungan Anti-Lubnan ke timur. Ia membentuk lanjutan timur laut Lembah Jordan Rift, yang terbentang dari Syria ke Laut Merah. Lembah Beqaa adalah kira-kira 120 km panjang dan mempunyai lebar purata kira-kira 16 km. Ia mempunyai iklim Mediterranean yang basah, sering bersalji musim sejuk dan kering, musim panas yang hangat. Rantau ini menerima hujan yang terhad, terutamanya di utara, kerana Gunung Lebanon mewujudkan bayangan hujan yang menghalang hujan yang turun dari laut. Bahagian utara mempunyai hujan tahunan purata 230 mm, berbanding dengan 610 mm di lembah tengah.
