Hans Bethe
Hans Albrecht Bethe adalah seorang ahli fizik nuklear Jerman dan Amerika yang, sebagai tambahan kepada sumbangan penting kepada astrofisika, elektrodinamika kuantum dan fizik keadaan pepejal, memenangi Hadiah Nobel dalam Fizik pada tahun 1967 untuk mengerjakan teori nukleosintesis bintang. Bethe kemudian berkempen dengan Albert Einstein dan Jawatankuasa Darurat Atom Saintifik terhadap ujian nuklear dan perlumbaan senjata nuklear. Beliau membantu memujuk pentadbiran Kennedy dan Nixon menandatangani, masing-masing, Perjanjian Pengesahan Ujian Nuklear Separuh 1963 dan Perjanjian Rudal Anti-Balistik 1972.
