Chirality / kaɪrælɪtiː / adalah harta asimetri yang penting dalam beberapa cabang sains. Perkataan chirality berasal dari bahasa Yunani, χειρ, "tangan", objek kiral biasa. Objek atau sistem adalah kiral jika ia tidak sama dengan imej cerminnya, iaitu, ia tidak boleh disandarkan ke atasnya. Objek kiral dan imej cerminnya dipanggil enantiomorphs atau, apabila merujuk kepada molekul, enantiomer. Objek bukan kiral dipanggil achiral dan boleh disingkirkan pada imej cerminnya. Istilah ini pertama kali digunakan oleh Lord Kelvin pada tahun 1893 dalam Robert Boyle Lecture di Oxford University Scientific Club yang diterbitkan pada tahun 1894.
